Stress

At what point does one decide they will stop reading? I seem to be finding new journals every day and the endless cycle of reading seem sto just not end. I read and add, and read again and add, and read yet again and still add and the cycle continues. Oh boy...the area of motivation seems to have so many authors......on the up side, there are so many theories some of which I have not even come to terms with. It is a vast topic with many authors who have differing views....oh the stress of it all.

Two more months to go and oh I cannot wait to hand this research in, even if I am far from starting to analtze data, let alone gather it. But on that sweet glorious day....I shall smile and look towards Heaven and smile at Him who brought me here and tel Him thank you, and also tel Him to help me not consider doing a Phd...hahahhaha!

Well I couldn’t agree more. It seems like an endless stream of thoughts, mounted with corrections, and then new theories evolving, new contradictions lining up, more correction being entered and the whole cycle restarts! I went through this just recently when I was to submit my final thesis while managing 2 jobs simultaneously! I can very well relate to the stress you’re referring . Pheewwsshhh! Thanks goodness it’s over!

You must have been so relieved on the day you handed your thesis in. I would say I envy you but I will be like you soon. The combination of a thesis and two working jobs must have been so stressful, I cannot begin to imagine. The fact that you managed makes you one strong determined lady. For that, congratulations! Thank goodness its all over. As for me, got two more months and boy can’t I wait. The day I hand this dissertation in, I will shout Hallelujah for this will be indeed the end to a long tiresome but very rewarding journey.
