Swimming is so good!
It's great walking out of the sports centre into darkness and the brushing gaze of the moon: like the other side of staring out the window and being shocked how dark it is.
There are familiar people at the swimming pool and unfamiliar people at the swimming pool. The shock of "they swim?!" disappears very quickly and we all just get on with it (that the shock is there at all is only because I haven't really been swimming at all outside of taking lessons as a kid).
It's just perfect! And you can have all this because you work hard and get things done at university. There are just so many perks here!
