Finaly got round to actually doing some work.
Read through the articles gathered so far.
Found the New England Eye Centre web page (link) to get some idea of what OCT was…
Wrote the begining of my speach, figure i'll just write the talk first and then make my slides from them.

It begins, femto chemistry and all that jazz

I hate technology. This is a stupid way to keep track of us working. Anyway, here we are about 6 weeks into the project and i'm finally getting around to actually recording some of what i've done:

www.femtolasers.com/ : why no one else found this site is beyond me. i guess it takes a simple mind to find a simple thing. Although this is essentially a commercial site there’s loads of vaguely scientific data and the inclusion of medical and environmental categories gives me a really good idea as to where to look next.

www.sciencedaily.com : far too much here but searching for specific things that are relevant based on what femtolasers.com thinks is worthwhile has led to some useful stuff.
