Tabloid Journalism

I write this first entry on my Blog following a recent trip to my former place of work over easter time. There they sell many newspapers across the spectrum of broadsheet and tabloid. One article present in one of these papers, that from the title you would presume contains a lot of sporting articles, but we all know is more just a mens daily really, caught my eye when paying for my goods.

The headline "Mum Gives Birth to Leprechaun" was staring up at me, and as such, was obviously front page news. I find it hard to believe that this is a real article, not just an edited photo to give them something to fill a page. As I took a picture of this article, I thought I'd share the picture for the entertainment of people other than myself, and to see what the tabloid papers have to stoop to somedays in order to fill their pages.
