Merry Christmas

Eemnes: witte polderThis blog’s blogger has a worried character. He sees problems in every emerging process, shakes his head at international political developments and often feels powerless about things that he feels are important but difficult to influence. He signs many a petition, votes for or against as he sees fit, and occassionally publishes an angry piece on this blog.

And yet, despite it all, in the middle of it all, he believes, I believe, in something that we should call the Christmas thought. So get together with your family, your girlfriend, boyfriend or friends. Spend a couple of relaxing days, be cheerful, and who knows it might start to snow. A Merry Christmas to all visitors of this blog, and a happy 2008 full of practiced ideals. Cheezy? Someone’s gotta do it!

The picture shows the wintery landscape around my village. For more pretty pictures of the Netherlands, visit the bloggers at Heuvelachtig.nl.
