Everything is Politics
Sometimes one finds in a theoretical essay with otherwise highflying abstract language a particularly apt phrase to describe a current situation. I dedicate this thought to Flanders. Because everything is politics.
Following the old joke “a language is a dialect that has its own army”, a nationality is an ethnicity bearing a favoured relation to a particular state.
