Bank Holiday: Spending Free Hours

Ashow near StoneleighThis bank holiday I decided to take it easy and go for a good hike. Me and my housemate set out for a countryside destination. Getting off at the hotel by the side of the road (near the motorway) on the busroute between Leamington and University campus, we soon found ourselves bumming along country roads and discovering the charming little village of Ashow. We saw a village club, a fox, and a footbridge over the River Leam. Who would have guessed the delights of the country lie so near our homes? How big did Leamington’s town centre look when we arrived back there some two hours later!

  1. Ashow's a very pretty villlage. I often drive down there when stressed to chill out for a while.
