Hope for a better tomorrow …

Today I spent the afternoon in Birmingham Symphony Hall; Rev had been asked to take part in a concert to raise money for the Tsunami appeal. We sang with about 500 children from 20 different schools around Birmingham. The children were amazing, so talented and enthusiastic – a real inspiration :)

It was such a lovely afternoon so a HUGE thank you to the certain someone who persuaded me to go. At the end of the concert we sang ‘Hope for a better tomorrow’, a song that all the children had learnt, which we had only received the words for a few hours before – but hey it worked and now I can’t get it out of my head! So the first day of my revision timetable didn’t exactly go to plan, but I think the concert may have given me the motivation I need to get through the next few weeks.

Neglected blog!

I'm feeling a bit guilty about the fact that people are being so kind and leaving lovely little messages on my blog, or e-mailing me through my blog (thank you Pei Jie) and yet I have only bothered to write one measly comment – sorry!!

So it's practically the end of term … oh my goodness! I've just about recovered from last weeks Rev packed week; busking, school workshop and concert – all amazing :) I now have the small matter of a few essays and a dissertation to conquer, so it's full speed ahead. I guess I'll just have to 'Hold on' and keep remembering those lyrics from a song we learnt last year at WIM ;)

Ok well I will try and pay a little more attention to my blog in the future, but for now that's all.

Hello!

Hello!

This is my first blog entry :) So here's a little bit about me…I'm a third year sociologist currently living in Tocil and enjoying the convenience of being back on campus. I love sport, unfortunately don't have any hidden talents but enjoy swimming and aerobics. I'm also a member of Revelation, a rock-gospel choir which is pretty amazing and I would really encourage you to come along and see how mad we all are (check out the website www.warwickrev.org).

That's all from me for now, except to say that i went to see Bride & Prejudice at the weekend and it was so funny … go see!
