This blog is about my very first official research project! It is being carried out courtesy of the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme.

The primary aim is to find out the relationship between the public and restoration. The main concerns that I will am seeking to address are summarised below:

•                   What exactly does the term 'Restored in x' mean to people when they see it on the label of a painting
•                   Do they appreciate restorers filling in missing bits on an old painting
