Medical School Deals With Trainee Doctors' Lack of Sleep

Teaching staff at Warwick Medical School have long been concerned that Trainee doctors do not get enough sleep. Sleep in the classroom that is. Despite sleep patterns being a major contributor to a number of illnesses on average most undergraduate doctors in the UK receive only 5 minutes education on sleep medicine. Warwick Medical School has now moved to address that balance.

Train Named After University of Warwick Deputy Vice–Chancellor

Following the christening of the first of its brand new 'Pioneer' trains, Hull Trains has named the second train in its fleet of brand new " Pioneer Trains" after University of Warwick Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Stuart Palmer. The 'Professor Stuart Palmer' was named at a ceremony at Paragon Station in Hull on Tuesday, 12th July.

Goldman Sachs Foundation announce $500,000 grant for NAGTY

Building on the success of the Gifted Entrepreneurs Programme, The Goldman Sachs Foundation have announced a further grant of $500,000 to The National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY), based at The University of Warwick, for their new four year project: the Next Generation Venture Fund.

University of Warwick Awards Ten Honorary Degrees
