Sexual orientation affects how we navigate & find lost objects but age just targets gender

Researchers at the University of Warwick have found that sexual orientation has a real effect on how we perform mental tasks such as navigating with a map in a car but that old age does not discriminate on grounds of sexual orientation and withers all men’s minds alike just ahead of women’s.

A new research for Centre for Rights, Equality and Diversity is being launched at the University of Warwick on the evening of Thursday 24th May by University of Warwick Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift and leading equality figures: Kay Hampton, Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality and Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos, Head of Research and Data Collection at the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights – but the Centre has already produced its first preliminary report on a its ongoing study of the perilous position of Polish migrants to the UK.

Researchers at the University of Warwick have enlisted a world wide team of amateur / semi-professional astronomers to keep watch on one of the fastest spinning white dwarf stars ever found. The star is long overdue for a major eruption that will increase its brightness a thousand fold.
