Nitric oxide (NO) is best known as an air pollutant produced by vehicle emissions and power plants but for pregnant women it is a crucial compound required to avoid hypertension and pre-eclampsia. Now researchers at the University of Warwick’s Warwick Medical School have uncovered some of the secrets of what can interfere with the protecting properties of NO for pregnant women.

You don't need a big lottery win for long term happiness… but a few thousand helps

Researchers at the University of Warwick and Watson Wyatt have been examining just how much money one needs to win in the lottery to have a long term impact on personal happiness. Unsurprisingly the researchers found that small wins in tens or hundreds of pounds made little long term difference, but they also found one did not need to win the jackpot to gain a significant increase in long-term mental wellbeing.

Warwick Business School Research Says Sales Management Differences Disappearing

The first study to compare sales management practices in a range of developed and less developed countries on several continents finds compelling evidence that differences in management processes across countries are diminishing, or even disappearing. Most surprising is that no major differences between developed and less developed countries regarding sales management practices and their results were detected.
