The debate about the place of intelligent design in modern science is a controversial one with strong opinions on both sides of the argument.
You may have read recently that Professor Steve Fuller, a member of the University of Warwick's Department of Sociology, testified for the defence in the Kitzmiller et al. v. Dover Area School District case.
We invited Steve to debate some of the principles and arguments for including ID in the curriculum with Professor Jack Cohen, another Warwick University professor and an expert on biological sciences.
You can hear the debate via the page linked above – you can either listen over the web or download an MP3 to listen at your leisure.
Note that the discussion lasts for about an hour – get some coffee and a bun…
Note that there is the option to subscribe to future debates and interviews with Warwick staff.
