Learning Style

Learning styles at my previous university was very much a private topic as there was no group work involved, so every person could develop their own style. My personal style changed over the course of my degree. In the first year i depended on retaining the information after only reading my notes a number of times, however, as the volume of information increased in years two and three, i had to re think my learning style to include repeatedly writing and summarising my notes using flow charts and mind maps. I found that by doing this, i was able to fully understand the work which made it much easier to remember!!
