[Skip to the latest comment]Pro-test are awesome. It’s about time someone decided to stand up to the militant animal rights moron hippy brigade.

Although I definitely don’t agree with the use of violence against animal testing laboratories etc, I do believe that animal testing is most definitely mankinds way of saying “We want this amazing new drug but are too scared to test it on humans, so let’s let the animal world take the fall”. That said, I definitely wouldn’t complain about being treated for any illness I may or may not develop by a product which has been tested on animals. I guess that makes me hypocritical.

You are so going to get Google-bombed for this. :(

Ben – Exactly!
Tom – I guess everyone has their own views, and I am really not the best person to encourage debate, but do look through some of the Pro-Test stuff. My views have only been enforced by the guys at Pro-Test.
Luke – eh?

Why should animals be tested on we are the same as them so why do they get tested on and not human tissue they have the same rights as we do so why should they suffer in silence??
The answer is:-
They shouldn’t.

Well it took five months longer than I expected, but finally Google turns up with an animal rights activist!
13 May 2007, 23:14
But, as they found this via google, we probably won’t see them again!

I very much doubt they suffer in silence. They probably make a hell of a racket.
More seriously, Jessica, until you a) offer yourself for testing in place of animals, since you disagree with it so much or b) think of an alternative idea, your argument holds no weight. This is one major problem I have with these clowns claiming to defend animal rights – you can bet your bottom dollar that if they were will and needed medication that had come about as a result of animal testing, they sure as hell wouldn’t turn it down.

Typo – read that last sentence as ”...if they were ill and needed medication…”

So dumb, in fact, that you felt it important to spend six minutes of your life telling us so.

Well, we all assume you have nothing to contribute to any discussion on animal testing, otherwise you would have already mentioned it. So by commenting the same sentiment over and over, you are just enhancing our opinion that you are dumb.
