Heat

Just to say I cannot function in this weather. It is too hot to do anything. PLEASE get colder ASAP.

My Tuesday AM and Wednesday AM exams are going to suffer…

DAMN BRITISH SUMMERS!

PS: Good luck to all people who still have exams!

  1. No, don't get colder. When I finish on Tuesday I want some sunshine. Like everyone else has enjoyed for two weeks while I've been slaving away in the bloody library.

  3. Lol! You killed the weather!

    12 Jun 2006, 07:44

  4. Right – everyone 'round to Coopers to kick him for making it rain.

    12 Jun 2006, 08:27

  5. But it's still too hot! I wanted a temperature decrease, not rain!

    12 Jun 2006, 09:43

  6. Got woken by the thunderstorm – it was rather spectacular. Creep out of bed a few hours later and you wouldn't have thought a drop of water had touched the ground!!! Back to intense, anti–revision heat with added humidity :(

I feel your pain Matt. I have my last two exams tomorrow.

    Best of luck.

  7. It's bloody well pissing it down now. If it's like this tomorrow afternoon I will hold you personally responsible.

    12 Jun 2006, 16:00

  8. It's not looking good for you, Matt.

    12 Jun 2006, 16:01

  9. It's f*scking hailing!

    12 Jun 2006, 16:18

  10. Matt, I blame you for the larger than average hailstones pelting my window 10 minutes ago. It's all your fault.

    12 Jun 2006, 16:35

  11. You obviously have a mini weather system up there in Cov. It did not hail in leam today, in face it barely rained at all after the thunderstorm.

Therefore, perhaps it is Matt's fault :)

    12 Jun 2006, 19:17

  12. Right then. I think Cooper owes everyone in Coventry a pint.

    12 Jun 2006, 20:22

  13. Not on a student budget, Dave!

And it is STILL not cold enough. Organic Synthesis is going to hurt so much tomorrow.

And an increasingly stressed Matt is going to start getting irritated if you lot keep blaming me for the bloodgy weather. We're in Britain, that's the only excuse there is!

Now leave me in peace so I have some outside chance of even passing these exams!

    12 Jun 2006, 21:59

  14. Juicy

Matt, I not only hold you responsible for this weird weather but I am also blaming you on behalf of Craigy P who was caught walking back from the train station in said Hail storm and is now covered in bruises.

That said…best of luck for the exams!!

    12 Jun 2006, 22:23

  15. Well done Matt, you now control the weather! :P

    12 Jun 2006, 23:09

  16. On the up side, you're coming on tour with us, so if you make it rain then, you'll suffer with the rest of us.

    12 Jun 2006, 23:14

  17. Stuart Coles

Right then. I think Cooper owes everyone in Coventry a pint.

What he said. It's all your fault.

    Good luck for tomorrow :)

    13 Jun 2006, 13:17

  18. Brilliant (!)

Now everyone is blaming me for the damn weather! Time to avoid everyone until I go home so I don't have to fork out cash for pints I cannot afford!

Now bring on tomorrow to mark the end of my eaxms!

    13 Jun 2006, 21:27

  19. thank god the weather's bad i have/had exam in panorama yesterday and today and it was pretty barable thanks to the beautiful, beautiful rain.
it has to be sunny tomorrow though, can ypou try and make it do that please? i want to go storytelling in the woods :)

    15 Jun 2006, 12:33

  20. I've already told everyone that I can't control the weather!

To prove this: Make it rain torrentially tomorrow!

There, now when it is a lovely day, I will be disproven!

    15 Jun 2006, 13:18

  21. you used reverse psychology on the weather. cunning.

you can't fool us though, we know the truth…

    Matthew Cooper: Rain God extraordinaire!

    17 Jun 2006, 13:19

  23. What I want to know is, does he have an idiomatic rainstick?

    18 Jun 2006, 22:45

  24. Rain god! Wow! Now that I can live with.

I want an idiomatic rainstick, DAMMIT!
