Was it just a craze?

Query: Has blogging stayed as popular as it was last term?

I know many people who were frequent bloggers during term 1, and i'd like to think of myself as one of them. But it seems that they all, and i definately can include myself here, have almost stopped completely.

Was it just another craze, on par with yo-yos or (the dreaded) pokemon cards?

Now, i can't back up these thoughts, but has this trend been repeated elsewhere? What are the figures about blogging? Number of blogs, number of posts, frequency and so forth.

Maybe then I, and others, may be able to decide.
