A friend has sent me this link. Olympia LePoint shares with Clare and I a deep understanding of the role of fear in maths. Her TED talk is well worth watching.

Olympia has illustrated beautifully the key mathematical resilience notions: growth mindset (implicitly, 'not yet but I will'), personal agency, support community (mentor in her case) and inclusion.
