Writing about web page http://youtube.com/watch?v=zlfKdbWwruY&feature=related
I don’t know if web 2.0 technology will change the world or not – all i know is that i’m sure stuff like this wasnt around before the internet. I could be wrong, but this is probably the most moving video i’ve ever seen. I remember a tutor I had at uni (the first time) saying that he wondered occasionally what he’d answer if an alien race ever came down and asked him to justify the continued existence of the human race – what would he show them. His answers were the Parthenon, Maxwell’s equations (it was a lecture on electromagnetism) and one other thing which I can’t remember. That’s kind of stuck with me, and since then I’ve been on the lookout for reasons why we should stay here. They’re few and far between. A four minute video of people around the world dancing should be near the top of the list though.

So Will Smith is to play Hancock – I wonder if they’ll transpose 23 Railway Cuttings to some location in the US. I can’t see it working really. Maybe they should subtitle it the Fresh Prince of East Cheam.
