Marandet–CESAR links

One of the objectives we've had this year is to investigate how we might better link the Marandet plays with the CESAR databases.

We could look to link from the plays to their entry in the database, which technically is straight forward if a little time-consuming but it would be nice if we could also think about how to link to press and police reports too. I'm sure there must be other ways we could integrate the two resources - answers on a postcard (or as a reply to this thread...)

Exposing Marandet: presenting it to students

This year's collaborative venture between the Library and the French department to raise the profile of the Marandet collection as part of the Library's JISC-funded Exposing Marandet project got going on Tuesday 25th November 2008 when current final-year students following the French Revolution module had a hands on session with Peter Larkin, French Subject Librarian and Kate Astbury, the module convenor and academic advisor to the project.

Hopefully some of the students will choose to use the plays as part of their essays on the module and these can be uploaded to the Marandet Matters online journal.
