Room Survey Activity

For the Visual Sociology Room Survey Activity I decided to focus on the living room in my student house in South Leamington.

It’s a very untidy and dirty room by nature (!) so I thought it would give me more scope when photographing a large amount of pictures.

All in all I took around 60 photographs but many of those were repeats of the 26 I have chosen, I havn’t decided which 6 photos to have as my favourite, but will do by the next workshop.

In answering the questions on the worksheet, I feel my pictures show the economics of my household are actually quite high due to the technology that’s apparent, but style and taste is very low!

The room used is obviously very well lived in and serves multi-purposes, and the inhabitants are obviously comfortable in the room as their own personal belongings (and food!) are scattered everywhere.

The best tree in the land

This is the tree in the back of my boyfriend rae's house in north leam, and its the best tree ever! :)
