It's very warm…

I've just had a shower but I'm feeling as hot now as I was before I took it (although hopefully less smelly). I like the summer, but why is it always so muggy?? And why do I not tan? This is most unfair. But at least nice weather means BBQs and rounders games, which are all lots of fun. Sarah F and myself are now expert BBQ chefs! Anyone fancy a sausage??

Our BBQ was really good, but was somewhat overshadowed by the "curious incident of the drunk in the car" that my hero boyfriend chased after (legend). This guy drove a car straight into several parked cars just on the other side of the road from the popping cork (Melbourne Rd) and got out and legged it in front of all these people watching what had happened! Stu and another guy chased him and phoned the police, but he disappeared into a house and wasn't caught. The woman who owned the car claims not to know him…there seems to be a lot of suspicious circumstances surrounding the whole thing, but it was all very exciting! Stu had to give a witness statement (lets hope if they catch the bugger he will get a big fat reward (she dreams))
The cars were well and truly hit – including my housemate Emma's (although she got away with just losing a wing mirror). We think he must have been drunk or caned – either way he clearly had something to hide!!

Ah the excitement of living in Earlsdon.
