RSS feeds in academia

Writing about web page http://directory.edufeeds.com/

It would be good to know other sources of academic RSS feeds, particularly directories, so that we know where to direct people to when we tell them how to use RSS feed readers!

    It does indeed look US-centric: so much of the web is. But it is an example of the kind of thing I would like to find!
