Tree / Graph Drawing Tools

Is anyone aware of a tool that can be used for the drawing of graphs / tools, such as the one in this entry? Such a tool would almost certainly be useful for this project.

If you are aware of such a tool, please do let me know.

  1. If you are a LaTeX user, then I would suggest QTree: link.

  2. Not sure what it is you need the tool to do, but I've been using graphviz for my project, i'm using it to generate dynamic graphs from php code. It uses text files which contain some simple markup that describe a graph, the graph is then made into an png/svg graphic using the command line.
