Severe Noise Disruption in the Library this week

There will be severe noise disruption in the Library this week because the contractors are currently drilling in the central stairwell to complete a major phase of the Remodelling Project.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause but we do have disposable ear plugs available or a small supply of ear defenders that can be borrowed.  Please ask at the Floor 3 Service Desk.

This is just a reminder that the Library will be closed this Saturday and Sunday (August 11 & 12) until 19:30.

This is because the contractors will be carrying out a particularly noisy phase of the Remodelling project and they have advised us that the environment will be extremely difficult for anyone to work or study in.

We apologise for the inconvenience but if you do have a particular problem with regard to this closure please email libremodel@warwick.ac.uk

Saturday 28 July – Severe Noise Disruption

On Saturday 28 July the contractors will begin the preparation work on Floor 2 for a major part of the Library Remodelling project.  This is likely to be very noisy and we are advising people that it would be wise to plan their visits to the Library over the weekend to avoid the worst of the disruption during the day.

Continued noise disruption

The contractors are now dismantling some of the partition walls on Floor 1 of the Library.  This is likely to be noisy and may disrupt your work.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and reccommend that you work either on the upper floors of the main Library building or on floor 3 of the extension building.
