New American Resources Available!

A verybelated Happy New Year from the Arts subject team. This year has got off to a good start as we have acquired a number of new electronic resources including two American Resources. Details are as follows:

American Historical Newspapers 1690 - 1876: This resource includes Readex's Early American Newspapers Series I. American Historical Newspapers contains hundreds of papers listed in Clarence Brigham's Bibliography of American Newspapers 1690-1820. You can search this database by date and era, and by newspaper title.

Early American Imprints Series II: Shaw-Shoemaker: This resource contains the full text of every book included in Ralph R. Shaw and Richard H. Shoemaker's bibliography of American imprints from 1800-1819. Effectively contains every significant book published in America between these dates.
