Competition
Moving away from competition could be a challenge for many people. Since we were born and educated at schools in a competitive way, and since economy moves in terms of competition, forgetting about it could be a difficult task. Many thinkers seek cooperation as an "idealist" theory and as an optimistic way which is far away from reality. But, in fact, if we look into reality, isn't easier to cooperate instead to compete? Is globalization bringing more cooperation? given that barriers between nations are being removed, free mobility of people, goods and services is a reality and technology development is bringing the opportunity to make relations easier. Given this situation, it could be said that conditions are just there and the environment is suitable and this context is appropriate for business entities and organizations. This issue which applies in an external way (relations between companies, suppliers, customer) can also be imported to the insight (internal customers, employees etc...), where it could be effectively applied given that managing groups of people is easier that moving among organizations, economies and nations.

A good thing to consider regarding competition might be the origin of it or why is it actually exist? From what I’ve been through and noticed in my work experience, I think that competition resulted from a seek of power. Many people ages ago just fought wars to show power in a way that competition does these days. No matter who I am facing, my aim is just to beat him and win. So I think solving the love of tyranny at the starting point should be considered and included in education from early years. Although it is kind of our nature to compete against each other, but a good education should at least direct this competition to involve honesty and dignity.

A point well-made regarding globalization and the removal of international barriers. Unfortunately, this is hardly the case. Competition is still prevalent across the globe. It exists between people, organisations, and the entire entities. Perhaps if one analyses the root-cause, the reason isn’t vague. Perhaps the way we are being taught, not just in most business schools, but the entire education process, since we start school, is inherently WRONG.
An ‘idealist’ theory does promote cooperation. However, in the current practice, cooperation only exists as long as it is in Self-interest of the parties involved.

Yes, Education is the key element to move from competition to cooperation, I think this issue is about changing minds and behaviours, this point implies setting a collective action mind-set as a base of society. On the other hand, I would say, the world is as you perceive it; it absolutely depends on how you see it. There is a theory regarding International Affairs which is known as “Golden Arches” and suggest that the more economic ties the world have, the more we tend to cooperate. Anyway, competition is inherent in economy but I think globalization is a good scenario to achieve cooperation. Thanks 4 ur comments guys!
