Blogging is proportional to Boredom

I have Sarah Nicholson (and Owen Lloyd) to thank for the title of this entry. On Friday afternoon, whilst in the MC office, Sarah made the comment with Owen's help and I thought it was an appropriate title!

Wind Orchestra was very good on Friday night. We had lots of freshers, mainly flautists which bodes well for flute choir (2.30–3.30 on Wednesday in the Band Room) All the music we are playing is very good. There is a healthy range of genres from cheese, through the mildly ridiculous (Windows of the World) to nearly classical! All in all a very good rehearsal.

Last night I was Honor My-Owne (spot the pun) who was a wealthy widow at a murder mystery party. Despite moments of mild confusion when I was married to the captain who had been killed who had a brother who was a composer who I was actually married to before he died! (Confused? So was I!) Anyway, despite a couple of people's accusations, I was not the murderer which was a good job as I was finding it hard to tell the truth, let alone lie consistently!

Before I bore you all to death I will get back to my assignments. Analysis 3 or Algebra 1 this is the question!

  1. Sounds fun :D

I've realised that, at least for the foreseeable future, I won't be able to come to clarinet choir, sorry :( I've been asked to play 'cello in an octet that someone's been trying to organise for a year and a half (!) and finally has the right number of players.

    Hope it's fun.

  2. Zoe – choosing a string instrument over a clarinet? Shocking… :-p
