Miss Saigon

5 out of 5 stars

I think that this has to be the best version of the best music on the planet.

The music represents despair, elation, sadness, joy…

Basically a fantasitc piece of music that everyone should listen to!

My first Blog

It has taken me almost two terms to get around to building a blog but then there is nothing odd in that. It took me one term to go the bar after Wind Orchestra rehersals and I am now on the exec. as Librarian!

This blog will be rarely be updated due a certain lack of time! If I am not in lectures (which I usually am), then I am in the music centre or sleeping.

I have decided that this Blog should contain very little about the course (MathsStats) as this is merely an excuse for me being at Warwick. The real reason is of course the music. I am a member of the Chamber Music Society and of the Wind Orchestra and love them both.

This term started with me taking over as conductor of the Flute and Clarinet choirs and appears to have ended with me being given a trial term as conductor of the W.O. I was so scared at the audition but I loved the experience. I just hope now that I do a good enough job to be allowed to conductor for longer than a term.

This seems also a relevant place to say thanks to Alicia and Andy (and Paul) who were all very enthusiastic and encouraging about me becoming a conductor in the first place.

Anyway I will stop waffling and get back to writing up my assignments.

More soon I promise.
