Does it count that she’s broken hearted
Does it help she has nowhere to go
And yet nothing had really started
Was it just the adrenaline before the low

Did he know what she guessed about him
Why did he seem to want it too
But then the ocean star grew dim
And the flower withered under shoe

But she knows the discomfort in his eye
It touches her as once did his light
She knows that to herself she shouldn’t lie
When was she ever worth the fight

In days where knights are behind play stations
And the days are engulfed in night
Those inevitable frustrations
Where one willingly loses sight

Even when the star shines bright on the flower
It’s never so intense just like we are
Though the moon makes the tide a tower
It doesn’t come any closer

They say we’re better of where we are
A happy flower under a kindly twinkle of a star
I know that intimacy comes at a cost
We’d make better friends, instead of lovers lost

So now I’m gonna hold my head up
Every time I walk that corridor
I’m gonna try and leave it at a “wassup”
And walk sooner out of that door

I’m setting that captive heart loose
From speculation, that strange decorum
I’m putting some will into those shoes
To walk away from you, when that time comes

The price I have to pay for us
That buffer against that distance
So that we can be like squirrels in the fall
And to our friendship above all

Free Tibet

The featureless corpse
Washed upon the sand
Bloated, Unrecognizable
Yet Every bit of Man

It is Memory
The Sadist Ecstasy
“Humane” Hypocrisy
It is time to set Tibet Free!

The injured throngs
In the veiled populace
Result of our wrongs
Acknowledge them we must

“Humanitarian” tragedy
Perpetuated Rhapsody
Appeasement’s Malady
It is time to set Tibet free!

Flower Under Star

I’m painting my pages
Taking a walk in my head
You complain about your wages
Let’s talk about you and me instead

Broken words our kaleidoscope
Which no one else understands
Blooming flower in the night our hope
It’s in our minds that we hold hands

My masculine protector
Communion over lust
A nebula on the river
That vision shared between us

Linking chains of our future
I’ll never leave you behind
Every day a bond we nurture
We’re two of a kind

They speak of you all the time
They wonder why we’re close
They hope we lose our rhyme
A secret whole in the cosmos

Broken words hide a poet
Cracked lips a lover
The parched ground a plant
