The Royal Wedding Around the World

It's just under a month away, but already the news, discussion and speculation about the Royal Wedding is building, and like everyone else, Warwick academics and alumni have their views too! During the week of the Royal Wedding, we will (naturally) be featuring some content related to this national and international event!

We have an interview with Warwick academic, Prof Rebecca Probert, School of Law on “The Rights and Wrongs of Royal Marriage” and we’ll be featuring a book extract from Prof Stephen Gundle’s “Glamour: A History” about the glamour of the royal family. We alos hope to bring you a live chat with PhD student Sam Lyle about the rise of the middle classes! Look out for it between the 26-28 of April.

We’re also looking for international royal wedding correspondents - we would love to hear from our overseas alumni about how the forthcoming Royal Wedding is being portrayed by international media. Are they looking forward to it, perplexed or oblivious? If you would like to write a short commentary about the Royal Wedding in your country, then please leave a comment below or email knowledge@warwick.ac.uk
