Bloody A: drive

I can't be the only one who when browsing around their computer accidently clicks on the crappy floppy drive that you never, ever, ever use.

I've put up with it for years…but now, safe in the knowledge that I've not touched one of those horrible little disks for years, I've just uninstalled it (go to your device manager, find the floppy drive and click uninstall!) …and it just disappears, never to be seen again!! hahahahaha…die!

….hmmm, little mad this afternoon…must be tired :(

  1. Floppy drive??? Haven't had one of them in my computer since 2001 when I bought my Mac. My new Dell doesn't have one either… waste of material making them. Can't remember the last time I turned out a document under 1.5mb now.

  2. It's crazy, it's my work computer and it's only about 2 years old. Whilst I'm on a rant….tape decks in cars!! Base models of loads of makes still put in bloody tape decks! Grrrr!

  7. Dr iPod

I havent even seen a floppy drive on a computer in about 3 years.

Top ways to transfer files other than a floppy disk – USB key, e-mail to web based mail to pick up later even use your IPod as a storage device.. to transfer files.
