RSS and blogs

We are starting to build a personal aggregator tool at the moment, and quite a few projects here in E-Lab seem to be spawning RSS feeds from them.

So, here are a few interesting links about RSS, particularly in the area how it can be useful in education.

RSS: A Quick Start Guide for Educators
RSS: The Next Killer App For Education
Blogging and RSS The 'What's It?' and 'How To' of Powerful New Web Tools for Educators

I'll have to try and write more about this some other time.

Yet more decorating

Follow-up to More decorating from Kieran's blog

Been a bit lazy this week so far and have not nearly enough. Progress so far:

  1. Finally 99% finished bedroom 1, looking pretty good I like to think.
  2. Got a new rug and some pictures up in the conservatory

And that's it…very bad.

Should be a good day today, getting broadband at home activated so I can finally get pictures up and blog from home again without the pain of dial-up.

For anyone interested, I can highly recommend Pipex as a broadband supplier, they're cheap and reliable.

Also getting a whacking great plant delivered from the garden centre, I'm so crap with gardening/plants, I don't even know what kind of plant it is, I just know it looks nice :)
