Jeff Noon
my postmodern writing
may sound quite exciting
but if you have taste
it will be a waste [of your reading time]
though my references to the manchester dance music scene may seem thumpin’
a discerning reader is likely to find my prose lumpen
and though my works are often based on an intriguing premise
the works themselves are unbearably earnest and naive, like my cousin dennis
