Love Cambridge!

Went to Cambridge today with Jane and Lynn.

Cambridge is very, very beautiful and gorgeous! i can't stop myself loving it! felt regretful for not going there for master's study.

King's, Trinity, St.John, Queen's colleges are very impressively beautiful. The architectures there are designed and built in 18th century or even early. I am very stupid in history. so do not blame me for any mistakes i've made here. i apologize for it.

Really wish that i would be one undergraduate student at Cambridge, especially in Trinity college, or King's college, or St.John college. Then life would be quite different from what it is now. However, felt that people there are different from people here at Warwick. i mean the way they walk, the way they look at things, the way they speak, and everything. don't know why. maybe quite similar as what people feel of Tsinghua U in China.

Even thought about PhD at Cambridge today. But gave it up quickly. it really need a big, big incentive to push me to PhD study. i don't want to be one small girl in ivory tower any more. really want to be one pratical player in the reall world. Take risks, play the game, win or lose. That should be real life, not what we have on campus. I love this gam, honestly, no matter win or lose.

Love the punting on the river though it was really freezing. My bones got totally frozen. What i have seen from the punt was everything beautiful ever. even saw two hungry swans on the river. the white furs made them so noblest and distinguished. maybe that's why the Russian artist conposed the famous ballet 'swan lake'. Moreover, ducks at Cambridge were so fat!!! very suitable for making Beijing Roasted Ducks!

We missed the lunch at Trinity hall. wanna make it next time. maybe spring or summer. that will be ' Lunch at Trinity' which is similar as 'Breakfast at Tiffany's ' .

Even went to some private places such as the small church and the pray rooms and students' accommodations. it's sort of my ways of visiting, otherwise u r just wandering around the shit places and never know what it really is. perhaps only one pity today, i have not talked to some Cambridge students there. No, i did talk to one cambridge student who controlled the punt for us. But i'm not satisfied yet. always want to know more and always curious about everything.

tired after travelling. Need a good sleep now.
