Apart from being a somewhat limited musical maestro, I have spent the last 10 years working in engineering and manufacturing research. Looking at new approaches to product design, knowledge management and using virtual environments to enable commissioning of manufacturing systems! I am principally interested in how design and manufacturing decisions can be made earlier in the development process with lower risks.
