iTunes on Motorola

Writing about web page http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040726/cgm065_1.html

Apple are partnering with Motorola to put a new version of iTunes into mobile phones. They'll put a player program on the phone, and tweak iTunes on the desktop so that it can send songs to your phone via USB or Bluetooth. Pretty cool idea; it'll massively increase the number of devices that iTunes can talk to (I wonder if the phone will be able to play DRM'd tunes from the iTunes store?), and presumably find a market by appealing to the (vast majority, I suspect) of users who wouldn't mind songs on their phone, but don't want to mess with memory cards or file transfers. If they make it as slick as the iTunes->iPod connection, it should be pretty much idiot-proof.
