Car chase

Writing about web page http://www.youtube.com/w/Cop-Outsmarted-By-Sports-Car-Bandit?v=zxTw5SPOqvQ

This is an eight–second video of an impressive piece of quick thinking. But is it real? It seems too good to be true.

Like the basketball link I posted a while ago, the fun part of it for me is figuring out whether it's real or fake, and if it's been faked, how?

Any of our regular driving maniacs enthusiasts have an opinion?

  2. Looks like real driving – very impressive :-) (I imagine it was a set-up, though)

  3. There is a very similar manoevre with an evo in Jackie Chan's 'Who Am I?' made in 1996. The scene involves a car chase through Pretoria with the exact same model and colour car. Who knows?

Amazing stuff – fans of this kind of thing should check out the VOD Cars video podcast – this week there's a frankly amazing sequence from a Japanese Isuzu promo that shows some really clever driving, plus the usual lunatic stuff.

I think this is actually from 'Who Am I?', as Peter says, very cool either way :)
