- Indulge all the delights of campus that I didn't do in 1st year. I.e., get completely smashed safe in the knowledge I don't have to drive back to Leam.
- Learn Spanish. Properly this time.
- Join Breakdancing Society, Classical & Modern, and climbing. Actually attend sessions with the aforementioned.
- Make RAG Week the best ever, and make sure it wins Best Non-Social Event at the 2007 Socs Awards.
- Annoy Nic constantly in her new office in the Union.
- Go to every lecture. (excluding RAG Week)
- Avoid a repeat of Jess's Alcoholic Fortnight 2005.
- Avoid a repeat of Mirage Madness™ that led to aforementioned Jess's Alcoholic Fortnight 2005.
- Rejoin the gym safe in the knowledge I'll be paying about 10% of what I paid in Paris.
- Rejoin Street Vibe and fix my year-long dancing drought.
- Podium dance at Meta 12.
- Go to Godskitchen. More than once.
- Make the most of my last year as a student. In Paris I've seen what stuff costs when you're not and it isn't pretty!
Hey! Just spotted your blog! I was in Paris last year and it brings back all the memories! I was living in La Garenne Colombes, so all of 10 minutes walk from Courbevoie! I wish I'd figured out how to use the Noctilien too, I used it many times, but usually ended up somewhere completely different to where I thought I would be. Other things to do before you leave, if you still haven't done them:
1. Take the train from Courbevoie to Versailles, you get the best view of Paris ever!!
2. Take part in a french demonstration (so many to take part in)
3. Go to the Musee D'Orsay (sooooo much better than The Louvre)
4. Order a '3 monts' from the Falstaff on the Place de la Bastille – the most magical drunken beer ever!!
5. Fête de la musique (in June)
6. Have a pancake or gallette at Mme Crêpe's stall infront of Jussieu… hmm… bliss…
7. Adopt a crazy metro tramp.
8. Walk home from St Lazare having missed the last train, and without knowing the way back.
That's all for now…
