This is Wednesday the Whale.
Wednesday likes artichokes and drawing.
Wednesday had an adventure once. He swam far far into the distant horizon and came to Another Place. this was an important Place, and the seawater tasted a bit like butter. Far away saw he light shining above the waves and a voice called: Wednesday! Chosen you are! Take these the poppies of joy and deliver them to the unqueen of
Wibbledum, thus
I can't be bothered to tell you the rest of it, it's not very exciting. Suffice to say, the poppies gave Wednesday hayfever and he had puffy eyes for a week. Still, the unqueen of Wibble-whatsit gave him artichokes.

No–face and Lemon dress up

No-face and Lemon are dressing up. First they dress up as pirates. Arrr! No-face has some pirate gold. Would you like some?

Look! Lemon is dressed up as No-face!

Have you got some gold, Lemon? But Lemon, you haven’t got any hands to offer it with. Never mind, you’re still a good No-face.

No-face is a Lady. What lovely flowers you have, No-face!

Isn’t dressing up fun? No-face and Lemon have had a wonderful time.

No–face and Lemon go fishing

No-face and Lemon go fishing in a beautiful pea-green boat.

Lemon is perplexed because he has no hands to hold the fishing rod. No-face suggests he hold it with his feet. Then Lemon can catch fish! Lemon stuns them with his acid attack.

No-face offers you some fish.

The new adventures of No–face and Lemon

I would like to introduce you to some very special characters. Here they are:
It's No-face and Lemon! (applause/cheering). Of course, you probably already know No-face. His friend Lemon is very nice, and often perplexed. Most of the time he is perplexed because he has no arms. Lemon is a pokemon. He and No-face have lots of exciting adventures together. Today they are doing Standing Still.

crunchy lemon top

today i am going – despite the rain – to go to tescos for shopping and then i am going to bake a cake. havent had this cake in a while but it's very nummy – here's the recipe in case you want to make it too.

• 4oz butter (proper butter, no margerine rubbish, microwave it slightly to soften it up)
• 6oz caster sugar
• 6oz self-raising flower (i recommend at least part wholemeal it has a much nicer texture)
• 1 tspn baking powder (more if you're using wholemeal)
• 2 eggs
• some milk – 4 tbsp i think! – will let you know what i use… yep used 4
• grated rind of 1 lemon
  mix all this together and bake in a smallish (7") loaf tin @ 180C for 35–40 mins
  while its cooking make the topping – blend the juice of 1 lemon with 4oz caster sugar til it makes a paste. spread this over the cake while hot. mmm lovely. (smallprint: if this doesnt work for you its not my fault)
