Imagine my delight…
I get a new car (hurrah!)
But oh, what's this? 3 weeks in and already I need one of these
I've been back in Leamington 3 days AND I FIND MYSELF HERE AGAIN!
OK I can tell that most of you have no sympathy for my spoilt pampered ways…
If there's a moral, and I'm not sure there is, it's that from small acorns, oak trees doth grow…
That's odd.
I've had the new Fiesta for almost 3 years now and nothing has gone wrong. Maybe I'm lucky.
Good to see Ford have shot up to near the top of the reliability surveys now though.

My Fiesta is over 15 years old and the only problems' it's ever had have been thug-inflicted…

Ahh, the good old oil seal.
The amount of gaffer tape I used fixing oil leaks on cars over the years, which I add works very well. Why can't everything just work like its meant to.
I agree Ford have defintiely improved the quality of their cars over the pass year, with the fact I didn't recognise the new Ford Mondeo as a Mondeo when it was released just over a year ago now, due to how good it looked.
Maybe its because Sir Nicholas Scheele, Warwick's chancellor is no longer president & chief operating officer of Ford

Is there anything Geffer Tape can't do?

In answer to your quesiotn Rik, No, gaffer tape can do anything!
I've even used it to seal holes in boats as a temporary measure to avoid them sinking although admittedly not ideal.
There is another great material called sikaflex which you can use to seal any leak, I've even seen people make whole boats out of the stuff
