Orange juice and revision
Does anyone else find that orange juice really helps them revise?
I find that coffee and tea just put me to sleep (weird, yes? any explanations are welcome) but OJ just gives me energy and abit of focus.
Thankyou orange juice, thankyou.
I find that OJ makes me nauseous, thus not really helping with the whole revision thing

I think its the warm milk or something in hot drinks that makes you feel tired…i always struggled with afternoons , i'd have a coffee (ok, regular latte if you're asking) and then almost fall asleep. Thats my excuse anyway, But what do i care?

Nauseus means you CAUSE nausea.
Nauseated means something has caused YOU nausea.

If we're being pedantic, then "nauseus" isn't even a word. There is supposed to be an "o" in it. But I do see your point.

Orange juice makes you nauseous because it has alot of simple carbohydrates in it. Simply said, it was too much sugar. You should dilute it with water, using one half of each. If you drink OJ on an empty stomach it can cause nausea and intestinal cramping. Try to take it with some toast. That should help you. Also, it gives an energy boost because of its vitamin c content along with natural sugars.
