The aesthetics of this blog

I've realised, my blog has this nice, rather steampunkey brushed copper 'skin' and even cogs in the banner at the top, and what font is the default and only I can use? Ariea or whatever non-serif crap this is, compltley runing it's steampunkiness. Times New Roman or something else serrifey would work much better. Bad show, blogbuilder. Bad show indeed.

    Luckily, Blogbuilder allows you to specify custom styles in the Admin -> Appearance section of your blog (at the bottom), so it’s quite easy to specify a nice Serif font.

    It’s not Arial though, that is truly hideous. I think it’s Verdana, which seemed nice 6 years ago when we were doing this. Something like Droid Serif would be a nice choice now, or maybe even Georgia, before resorting to Times New Roman.

    I’m sure I’d tried that, I’m not the type to rant without trying to change something first.
    Still, thanks anyway.

    I had a go at doing the same on my blog – if you paste this into the Custom CSS box, it should work.

    @import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Droid+Serif);
    body { font-family:”Droid Sans”,Georgia,”Times New Roman”,serif; }

    or, if you just want to change the font in your blog entries and nothing else, change body to .entry

    Yeah, I had looked but I have no idea what CSS is or how to use it, so I didn’t know you can change fonts. I’ve done the .entry thing. Thanks.
