Nice article, you make an excellent point. I found the whole student voting process so daunting that for the first time in my life, the tiny voice inside of me that says “Screw politics, go have a biscuit” actually triumphed.

Apparently the sabbatical (or whatever they are) elections later in the year are much better done, with people running proper campaigns and everything so you actualy know who you’re voting for.
And for some of us, myself included, biscuits will always triumph over politics.
