Unit 3 – Write down all the ways you think a teacher could "help their pupils to express themselves

A teacher would be able to help students express themselves in the following ways:

• establishing a socially safe encironment where all ideas and opions are listened to crittically but respected nonetheless
• encourage group discussion within this safe environment
• have a focus on pair work at the beginning of a lesson, advance to group work and then whole class discussion by the end of the lesson
• encourage contsructive peer assessment
• be consistent when praising positive contributions
