You were doing fine until you said £25k p.a., when everyone must realise that you're joking… right?

Not sure if you mean £25k is too much or too little. I've recently had interviews for companies offering £27k and up to £35k.

If I graduate with an MEng and get offered £21k p.a. I'll be ecstatic. From what I can tell companies don't offer over £20k for graduates

Of course, if you're getting interviews in London that goes up.

If you get any duplicate or extraneous offers let me know; I'm in the same position.
Most engineering-type jobs offer 18–21k starting salary; jobs with management and financial consultancies/institutions can get you as high as 30+ in your first year of employment. If you give them your life.

Woo – yay for not stressing about graduate jobs…
Oh wait – that's cos I don't have a degree.
Maybe what I have is technically called a "drop-out job". Still pays the bills though… :)
