SST1 Historiography

Writing about web page http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/patlas

This website is an interesting site for historians as it allows us to view maps of Greece as it may have looked at the time we are studying it. There are many other similar sites on the internet that offer the same or similar options and it can be a useful tool to gain understanding of the territories and wars that form the backdrop to our course.
However the site was fairly tricky to negotiate and some of the images were confusingly to say the least (poorly labelled site on the whole)
