Recent updates on Warwick on iTunes U

Writing about web page http://itunes.warwick.ac.uk

A few new series of note to look out for on Warwick on iTunes U:

1. All Together Now: British Theatre After Multiculturalism - http://bit.ly/45URLs. I would especially recommend 'Offending the Audience'

2. The role of the multilateral trading system in the recent economic crisis - Pascal Lamy, Director-General of the WTO. http://bit.ly/ukarT

3. No Paradise without banks - http://bit.ly/zryWZ

That is all!

Parliament in Crisis: 1832 and 2009

Writing about web page https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/BrowsePrivately/warwick.ac.uk.2178413213.02178413218

A new series for the Warwick Department of History which aims to cover a variety of themes from a comparative standpoint.

The first discussion is an interesting assessment of the current political crisis in the light of the constitutional reforms of 1832.

Great to see Ian Stewart's Maths Challenges on the iTunes U homepage - a great little series of animations and great fun to make.

More of these to come.

A few highlights

Writing about web page http://itunes.warwick.ac.uk

There are over 350 individual recordings and films in Warwick on iTunes U and I would like to pick out a few of my favourites.

Welcome to Warwick on iTunes U

Writing about web page http://itunes.warwick.ac.uk

It is with great pleasure that I am able to welcome you to the new Warwick on iTunes U site.

You can access the site at http://itunes.warwick.ac.uk.

What will you find there? A wide variety of materials can be accessed through Warwick on iTunes U - films with leading academics, interviews, presentations and lectures as well as student created resources.

I hope that these films are a point of discovery for you and that they encourage further enquiry and exploration. Certainly at Warwick we are keen that they are the start of a dialogue and I would encourage you to comment on this blog or email us at itunesu@warwick.ac.uk.

I hope to have further opportunities for you to develop your interests with Warwick in the near future, so keep an eye out for those.

Otherwise - I hope you enjoy the initial content and look forward to sharing more of the Warwick experience with you in the future.

Cheers

Tom Abbott

Online Communications Officer and Warwick on iTunes U project manager.
