My faith in humanity is restored!

Finally, someone has decided to stand up, use common sense and not bow to the fair trade/make poverty history brigade and campaign for something not to be banned:

You have no idea how refreshing this is to me, when the current trend is to just jump on any bandwagon that comes along to boycott some multinational for some ridiculous reason. ¡Viva a revolución!

Note: I’m not against the principals of Make Poverty History and Fairtrade, I’m just against the attitude that people generally seem to take that these are the be all and end all and will solve global poverty overnight, when, in actual fact these are not, in my opinion, proper solutions.

  2. Who’d have thought it’d be so simple? Just hold a big concert in Hyde Park with loads of famous bands, and, hey presto, problem solved!
