Finally, something extracurricular

Wow, this evening I've just been 'elected' as Treasurer of the comedy society! Yes, they're trusting me with money! By the way, the reason why elected is in inverted commas is becasue there wasn't actually a vote, I just got the position by default beacause of the two people, including me, who wanted the position, the other person couldn't have it for some administrative reason, due to the fact that she's been on a gap year or something…. Anway, the new exec plus the current president are off 'training' at Rootes and Top B tomorrow night, basically meaning drinking and getting to know each other! I'll also have to go on some 'how to be a treasurer' training course or something.

Anyway, it's probably about time I found something like this to go on the barran wasteland which is my CV, which I guess really needs updating. The last time I did anything to it was when I was contemplating what A-Levels to study… Which was sooo long ago now.

Personally, I was never one for doing extra-curricular stuff because deep down I would know that I was not doing it for personal satisfaction, but for personal gain later in life. But this is something that I know that I will enjoy and take pride in doing, so I feel more comfortable with doing it.

And yes, hello to all 190-or so of you in the Comedy Society!
